OK, one more Operator tip. Can’t resist.
Part of the fun of working with the algorithm we used yesterday is that you can run all four oscillators in parallel to create some really thick sounds. Also, once you’ve set up the LFO to modulate the oscillator feedback, it modulates the feedback for all four oscillators, allowing you to to get into some intense wobbly insanity.
When you dial in the other oscillators, make sure to get the Coarse knob into the action, and experiment with transposing the other layers up or down:
Make sure to dial in some Feedback for the other oscillators, and experiment with some other waveforms. Definitely give Triangle a shot:
…it generates some really interesting sounds with the Feedback turned up.
